The New Jersey Sparks Athletic Club is a non-profit organization. The organization is dedicated to teaching girls the game of basketball. Not only to just play basketball but to teach kids another skill that could help get them into college.
Basketball skills and development is not all that is tracked with the program. School grades are also looked at. School work, academic responsibility, and responsibilities at home take priority in our program over basketball. We aim to teach in our girls AAU basketball program self discipline and personal responsibility in addition to the having fun playing the game of basketball.
We are dedicated to the kids. It is always about the kids with our program. Many of the girls who start in our program at a younger age continue to play in our AAU program through their four years in high school.
