NJ Sparks AAU girls basketball program consists of teams from the age of 9 thru 16 (U9 – U16). These teams travel to different tournaments in our local area in New Jersey and Tri-State area. Our older teams U14, U15, and U16 travel out of the state to play in tournaments that provide and opportunity for more exposure to college recruiters and/or college scouts. Our younger teams are sometimes scouted by local high school coaches as well.
This plays right into the goal of the NJ Sparks of trying to get the girls in our AAU Basketball program into college with an additional skill set in basketball. The tournaments are very competitive.
